The RBC Wealth Management Art Collection includes over 400 works featuring the human figure. This collection demonstrates how the human figure informs our understanding the human condition. Since the earliest cave paintings to present day artistic expression, there has been a focus on the human form as a representation of daily life and aspirations. As the representation of the form evolved into both realistic and figurative depictions, the understandings within society have remained the same. The human figure has the ability to define and reflect upon the time. Participating artists include, but are not limited to, Chuck Close, Roland Fischer, Roy Lichtenstein, Vik Muniz, Hung Liu, and Jaune Quick-to-See Smith.
