48 Hours 2018

Movements: Transcending and Traversing

1. an act of changing physical location or position or of having this changed.

2. a group of people working together to advance their shared political, social, or artistic ideas.

When lies are taken as truth, when apathy is too great, when we are left vulnerable, we have no choice but to Move!

What is a movement? What does movement mean in the context of political standoff? How does the voluntary and involuntary movement of individuals and groups change the geographic and cultural landscapes of our communities? How do we move beyond the antiquated, the polarizing, the siloed, the inequitable?

In a time of rapid movement and constant change, how do we stay rooted in our histories, traditions, and our ideals while continuing to progress forward to more positive and equitable futures?
