Slam Nuba

Slam Nuba is a live performance series that focuses on literacy, mentorship, and competitive, performance-based poetry and comedy.

Last Friday of the month, 8-9:30pm at RedLine. Doors at 7:30. Free for members, $10 for non-members.

Based at RedLine Contemporary Art Center, the Slam Nuba collective of artists performs poetry throughout the nation, as well as teaches workshops locally in and around Colorado and the region.

The mission of Slam Nuba is to promote the creation and performance of poetry and cultivate literary activities and engage the community, focused on the power of the written and spoken word.

Since its inception, Slam Nuba and its members have consistently ranked among the highest in the nation in competitions.
