RedLine Hours

RedLine is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

RedLine is closed on the following holidays and dates: New Year’s Eve & Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and the Friday following, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.

Visitor Resources

Parking: Accessible parking is available in RedLine’s lot. Parking is free for all visitors in our lot and the adjacent alley.

Mobility Support: RedLine’s front entrance, restrooms, and drinking fountains are accessible by wheelchair. A wheelchair is available at the front desk on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sighted Assistance: We recommend that visitors who are blind or partially sighted bring a sighted companion.

Nursing: Nursing is welcome anywhere. Staff can help find a private space if requested.

Food and Beverages: Food and beverages may be enjoyed in our reception area and library. Our staff will inform you whether food and beverages are allowed in specific exhibition spaces.

Do Not Touch: Please do not touch artwork unless invited by staff.

Photography: Personal photography is encouraged without flash.

No Smoking: Smoking and vaping are not permitted indoors.

Schedule a Tour of RedLine

We offer customized tours at RedLine for schools and community groups.

Whether you’re booking a tour for K-12 students or university students, a community group or your business, we will cater your guided tour to your group’s needs and interests.

At RedLine we offer 4 types of guided tours:

  1. General RedLine Tour

  2. Resident Artist Tour

    • In addition to viewing the artwork on display in the galleries, you’ll be invited to step inside the studios of RedLine’s artists in residence and watch professional artists at work.

  3. Current Exhibition Tour

  4. Community Studio/Activity Tour (for K-12 students)

    • Following your guided tour, you are invited to schedule an art making activity in RedLine’s Community Studio.

    • RedLine staff are able to create exciting student-driven art projects (ranging from bleach pen printmaking to revolutionary poster design) that meet your grade-level and content needs. 


School Tours at RedLine

RedLine school tours are tailored for grade level (or University class) and content topic. Tours require about 45-90 minutes to complete. 

Cost of school tours:

  • Title 1 School - Sliding Scale (does not include Community Studio Activity)

  • Non-Title 1 Schools/Colleges & Universities - $5/person

  • Community Studio Activity - additional $15/person


Group Tours at RedLine

Whether you’re planning a tour for your work colleagues or art appreciation group, our private guided group tours allow you to immerse yourself in the exhibitions, programs, and artists at RedLine.

Cost of group tours: $10

  • Community Studio Activity - $15 per person
