How to Apply for ArtPark Satellite Studios

ArtPark Satellite Studio applications are currently closed. Check back in again in September of 2022 to see if there are any openings.

Artists accepted into the ArtPark Satellite Studio program sign a 1 year lease with a 1 year option to renew. All artists are invited to apply and studios will be awarded through a community-selection process. 

Artists are selected through a public committee process and based on their relationship and creative engagement with the communities of the Five Points, Globeville, and Elyria-Swansea neighborhoods.

Details:

●      Studios range in size from 350-450 sq. ft.

●      The Satellite Studios at ArtPark are not part of RedLine’s primary two-year Artist-in-Residence program. These studios are not fully-funded and require a $225-$250/month rent obligation per participating artist based on studio size.

●      Participating ArtPark artists have access to much of the programmatic offerings as well as professional development and networking opportunities that the RedLine residency program provides.

Eligibility for ArtPark Satellite Studios

RedLine prioritizes artists who have connections to the surrounding neighborhoods including Five Points, Globeville-Elyria-Swansea, Cole and Whittier.

Jurors will also be considering whether or not a prospective artist does not currently (or will not have) an existing studio as of September 1, 2021.

Artists should apply who embrace this creative campus as an opportunity to collaborate with like-minded artists, the neighborhood and the organizations that share the campus (Focus Points - CoCuA and the Denver Public Library).

There will be a woodshop/maker space that will be available to all leasing artists, as well as a small gallery for exhibitions.

Requirements

The RedLine Satellite Studios require a one year lease with an option to renew for one year. Selected applicants have to be willing to participate in an active community of artists and program partners that share the campus. Artists will also be asked to participate in RedLine’s annual gala.
