The 100 portraits featured in this exhibition represent 100 community members from Colorado whose work and contributions inspired the artist. His care and admiration for the content is captured in each digital painting through gentle brushstrokes and an individualized palette. In this way, Glapion aesthetically stewards the inner virtues and vibrancy of his subjects.

Faces in the Crowd is Glapion’s dedication to colleagues, mentors, friends, and historical luminaries that have made or continue to make a positive impact. This collection of portraits only begins to capture the amount of talented and generous individuals that comprise what he describes as Faces in the Crowd.

Faces in the Crowd is the third exhibition in RedLine's 2020 program series “Afrofuturism + Beyond.” RedLine would like to thank our members and donors as well as the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District for making this exhibition possible.
